Once, imagination belonged to humans. Now, algorithms dream too. The brush, the word, the voice of artificial intelligence... It has seeped into almost every field of art. Yet there is a strange silence in the air. Can emotionless creation still be considered art?
The Bleeding Wound of Agencies: What Is a Brief?
Hello everyone! Those who know, know — before a product or service meets its target audience, it goes through many stages.
Sometimes these appear as brainstorming sessions lasting for days and never-ending meetings, or as lengthy presentations prepared over many pages. We always say, “Anything goes for that bomb idea that will excite the client, bless them,” but when the “brief,” which plays the biggest role in sparking the idea, is incomplete, we actually go crazy!
Yes, as you can understand, this week we wanted to have a little heart-to-heart. And we jotted down a few things about the “brief,” the bleeding wound of agencies.
First, let’s make a short definition of what a brief is.
A brief is an informative document in which the client conveys information about their brand or service to the agency they will work with and writes down the tasks they want the agency to carry out for their project.
However, unfortunately, in theory, the “brief” is often not given its due. Whether it is because the client is being coy or simply doesn’t want to bother, the incomplete or missing briefs they provide cause agencies to spend long hours brainstorming and to face unnecessary revisions. Naturally, this shatters the motivation of the entire team.
As a small precaution against this, we have prepared a Brief Form that will make our work easier and save time while determining strategies for projects. We even left it here, thinking it might be useful for you too.
You can download the form from here. Have a pleasant day!
